Tallest tower “GIFT” is 129 meters high
Modi inaugurated the tallest building- GIFT, which is one of the tallest and has got 29 floors.
This building will house offices of International Finance, Investment, Trade and other IT companies making it the most attention-grabbing building.
886 Acres Area Spread
The GIFT city is covered in an area of 886 acres. It is developed by Gujarat International Finance Tec-City co ltd( GIFTCL), a joint venture of Gujarat Government and ILFS
Connectivity with metro & BRTS
The GIFT city project has a tremendous external connectivity to the metro rail and Bus transportation service. The project covers all elements of urban Infra.
Rs 60,000-crore project
The 60000 Crore project covers the multi facilities SEZ, corporate offices, housing colonies, trade Centre, Native Financial sector and other amenities.
To create ten lakh new jobs in ten years
This GIFT CITY project is likely to generate ten lakh new jobs in the successive 10 years. The Vibrant Gujarat Global Conference, 2011 saw investment assurances worth Rupees 11,700 crore in the development.
UN & IMF to open offices in GIFT
Further to these improvements, there are a few more like Banks from Singapore, agencies of the United Nations and administrations such as the IMF will open offices in GIFT.
To use energy-efficient district cooling system
The city will use the energy-efficient district cooling system in place of air-conditioning. It will also use an automatic waste collection system that removes away garbage from the buildings at higher speed.
Will have automated waste collection
Automated waste collection can be pooled with biomass energy generation systems, so GIFT will burn discarded remains to generate energy. Green cities such as GIFT have a vision to test new technologies before they are adopted in current Indian cities.
Planned to rival London, New York
GIFT idea was regarded in 2007 and it was developed originally by a set of advisors such as McKinsey and urban development specialist Fairwood Consultants. GIFT city is strategized as a top-notch global financial Centre to enemy London, New York and Hong Kong.
