Gujarat is one of the biggest states in india, it continues to occupy distinctive position in Indian economy because of its attractive demographic position. The Gujarat model of prosperity was initially led by our current PM, Shri Narendra modi ji, his ambition of development was driven by FDI Investments, Infrastructure development and expansion of trade.
All of this has led to a string of developments in the state, currently it is looking at infusion of much bigger infrastructural projects like introduction of high speed rail corridor (bullet train) from Ahmedabad to Mumbai which is expected to be on road by 2022, turning ahmedabad metropolitan region into a gift city for the delight of business behemoths, building the colossal statue of Indian statesman and independence activist “Sardar Vallabhai Patel” in Narmada district of kevadiya colony in order to promote tourism and employment in the city of Gujarat.

Not only this, Gujarat is popularly known as manufacturing hub of India, It has been considered as a major lynchpin behind India’s IT sector prosperity, it provides conducive environment for IT industry to prosper.
Gujarat just stands behind Karnataka for total outstanding investments attracted by IT sector among Indian states with almost 16% share.
ASSOCHAM also called for the Gujarat government to develop Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Gandhinagar and Vadodara as probable hubs for the IT/BPO sector.
Gujarat provides a prosperous model of inclusive growth through the theme of Shaping New India in Vibrant Gujarat Summit - 2019. The 9th Vibrant Summit in January 2019 will focus on New Investment, New India and New Technology.
The Summit sets the platform for discussing on agendas of global socio-economic development, in addition to being a facilitator for knowledge sharing and developing new strategic partnerships.
In 2019 summit, the major move taken by government is to add an africa day as a feature. The idea behind it is to bring the local exporters and investors on the same platform with the African business counterparts and increase export opportunities in Gujarat.
Gujarat is fastly becoming a central hub for trade expansion in india and with recent developments and efforts put in by government for the state’s prosperity, it is clearly going to enter into a phase of massive boom with a land of ever so growing new opportunities for business behemoths and even startups.
