Gujarat has always been an emotion for me. When I left Vadodara to pursue my higher education, it was quite tough.
I travel quite a lot and leaving places is tough but it is never hard. But as I was about to walk out of this place, I somewhere knew that I may not come back to settle here. I just didn't know how to leave. I felt like I was struck with some kind of grief when I left Vadodara. But I had this opportunity ahead of me which I wanted to make full use of.
What do you do when the dream you have nurtured comes true? You become happy, feel successful. What do you do when the dream ends? I guess that is one that I need to figure out.
Having completed my school and under-graduation from Vadodara, I have seen my best times and my worst times in Vadodara.
“What I love about the city is the warmth that people have for each other. The street food that is just so delicious. Gorging on Sev Usal, Khaman, Khandvi, Vada-Pav can give one the best feeling in the world. Navratri here, can never be better in any city than Vadodara.”
Navratri here, can never be better in any city than Vadodara. Sometimes places become an extension of you. And sometimes they tell more stories about us than anything else. They hide within their corners cries and laughter and all the secrets. They see us through struggles and witness how we rise above our fears, our incompetency to become better each day.
Gujarat has been such a place for me.
This journey with all its ups and downs, goods and bads, has been so special and fully accountable for who I have become.
